The Foundation for Advancement of Clinical TMS (FACTMS) mission is to support education and research relevant to Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), to raise public awareness of TMS therapy benefits, and to increase treatment access, especially in underserved areas worldwide. FACTMS was founded in 2022 by the Clinical TMS Society Board of Directors.

Some initiatives receiving FACTMS support include:

• Assist more clinicians and patients gain access to TMS;
• Support TMS research;
• Support travel and awards for students and early career medical providers to attend and present at scientific conferences;
• Increase TMS awareness with social media and public service announcements;
• Help expand TMS therapy to communities worldwide, with special support for underserved populations.
