Dr. Ibrahim Alsherief, DO is a Harvard-trained psychiatrist and neuromodulation specialist completing his residency at Harvard South Shore Psychiatry Residency in July 2025. As Chief Resident for Neuromodulation, he received specialized training in advanced psychiatric treatments including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT), and ketamine therapies. Dr. Alsherief played a key role in the establishment of the TMS service at the Boston VA, where he developed comprehensive clinical protocols, operational framework, and provided training for clinicians. His passion for education has driven him to develop, hands-on training initiatives that are preparing the next generation of psychiatrists to deliver cutting-edge neuromodulation therapies. Beyond clinical innovation, Dr. Alsherief has made significant contributions as an Epic Physician Builder, where he transformed psychiatric care delivery by optimizing EHR systems to enhance both patient outcomes and clinical workflows. He is honored to contribute to global TMS advancement through his position on the Board of Directors for FACTMS.
