Randy I. Pardell, MD, DLFAPA, FCTMSS established Clearwave  Mental Health with the goal of providing state-of-the-art, innovative, scientifically based psychiatric care for residents of the Greater Hudson Valley, New York. Dr. Pardell and his team evaluate each patient with an extensive medical and psychiatric history assessment. Genetic testing is used to customize medication selection based on an individual’s genetic profile. We offer Neurocognitive Testing to assist with diagnosis and treatment planning. Individualized treatment plans can include medication management, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation Therapy (TMS is the breakthrough technology for treatment resistant depression, anxiety, OCD and smoking cessation), psychotherapy, esketamine therapy, nutritional evaluation and career consulting.

Dr. Pardell is a board-certified psychiatrist, Distinguished Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association and Fellow of the Clinical TMS Society. He is a Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, and Alpha Omega Alpha honors graduate of the New York University School of Medicine. Dr. Pardell was Chief Resident during his psychiatric training at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center and was a post-doctoral fellow at Columbia University School of Medicine.

He completed fellowship training programs in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation at Harvard University Medical School and Duke University School of Medicine. Dr. Pardell was elected President of the Clinical TMS Society 2021-22 and has been member of the board of directors for 6 years.  He was recently elected as the  President of the Foundation for the Advancement of Clinical TMS (FACTMS) a philanthropic charitable foundation to support education, research and increase access to transcranial magnetic stimulation therapy. 

As part of the CTMSS Pulses education program, Dr. Pardell has educated fellow physicians and mental health practitioners on TMS Therapy. He has lectured around the world on the latest pharmacologic and innovative treatments for psychiatric disorders. He has been recognized by Castle Connolly/US News and World Report as a Top Doctor.

Dr. Pardell has been featured on Cablevision’s series “Meet the Leaders” and YNN “Healthy News”, discussing TMS Therapy. He chairs weekly educational symposia with updates on psychiatric treatments and supervises the clinical transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) rotation for the Nuvance  and Garnett Hosptial Psychiatric Residency Programs. Dr. Pardell is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at Eastern Virginia Medical School.
